Richard “Rick” Kauffman has spent nearly four decades doing business, serving, and leading across west-central Ohio. His experience spans entrepreneurship, retail, manufacturing relationships, promotional products, banking and financial services, nonprofit leadership, service organizations, coaching, ministry, and community involvement.
Today, Rick brings those decades of real-world experience together with his work as an author, speaker, leadership coach, Certified DISC Trainer, and Certified DISC Consultant to help individuals, teams, and organizations communicate better, lead better, and navigate change.

June 15, 1993 Changed Everything.
The death of Rick's three-year-old daughter, Kelsey, changed the direction of his life. Grief became a defining part of his story, but it did not become the final word.
Through loss, reflection, faith, service, and the long work of rebuilding, Rick began learning how pain can become purpose and how purpose can become power when a man allows God to work through what he has lived.
That journey is not presented as a formula. It is one man's honest account of being broken, rebuilt, and redirected toward service.

Rick's search for clarity began with a journal, a Bible, prayer, and one question: “God, what are You saying to me?”
Through more than 1,500 days of consistent journaling, prayer, reflection, and action, Rick began recognizing patterns, lessons, relationships, experiences, and assignments hidden within his story.
That process became the Eight Steps of Ascension of the Warrior and helped establish the foundation of the 318 Men mission.
Rick does not position himself as a pastor or as the person holding every answer. He serves as a coach and guide who helps men ask better questions, recognize what God has placed in their hands, and take responsibility for their next step.
